Don’t wait! The deadline to apply for the SHTC is 5 PM on December 6th, 2024. But don’t stress! The process to designate a contribution online is incredibly simple.
But what exactly is the SHTC? It’s a special program that lets you choose where part of your state taxes go. Eligible Minnesota taxpayers can contribute between $1,000 and $2 million to the Contribution Fund and receive a massive 85% tax credit in return!
